Indonesia’s hosting the 26th Sea Games. This biggest event in South East Asia is scheduled to be held in Jakarta and Palembang starting November 11th up to November 22nd, 2011.
This is the 4th time for Indonesia to be the host of this Multi Sport Event. Indonesia first hosting SEA GAMES in 1979 in Jakarta where Indonesia successfully copped the over-all championship with 92 golds. In the previous SEA GAMES in 1977 Indonesia was also the winner of this event with 62 golds. That was the first time for Indonesia to participate in the SEA GAMES.

According to the list above Indonesia has been the over-all champions nine times and is still hold the record as the most time over-all champions. See pic below:
Up to today, Indonesia is still the best one in The SEA GAMES. So far, Indonesia has collected 1422 Golds, 1262 Silvers and 1251 Bronzes. That result makes Indonesia listed #1 in the SEA GAMES history. See pic below:
